Digital is for the “every” moment; film is for the feeling.
There is a deliberate slowness to shooting 35mm that I’ve fallen in love with. It’s a process that requires patience and a sharp eye for the light. By tucking a film camera into my bag alongside my digital gear, I’m able to capture your day through two different lenses: one that is precise and comprehensive, and another that is raw, textural, and deeply nostalgic.
I typically shoot one or two rolls of film throughout the day.
It isn’t about technical perfection. It’s about the soul of the image. As a Norfolk wedding photographer, I find that blending analog with my digital work is the best way to bottle the atmosphere of a wedding, creating a collection of images you can truly feel.
